Saturday, June 03, 2006 <3 8 days?? 192 hours?? 11520 minutes?? 691200 seconds??
how long is 8 days?? is time merely linear?? or is it so much more than just minutes and seconds?? 8 days leading up to todae was not only eventful but also memorable and exciting... ahh... let's see... shall begin wif last thur... made baked rice fer her!!! n we had a nice dinner tgt alongside wif frank sinatra's music in e background... how i wished those moments nv fade away... fridae was rather uneventful followed by an unforgettable saturdae when we went fer my family barbeque session at aloha changi!! hmmm my relatives and my gramps seemed to hav quite a good impression of her =)) well it wuz quite fun tt dae... how we attempted to start e fire n esther getting herself bz fanning n flipping... every second was juz absolute bliss... n sundae was not even e usual one where i sent her home after piano (cos she had no piano lessons!!)... she had some achievement ceremony organized by her previous tuition centre at bayview hotel, which i went to pick her up too =) thereafter, we walked ard in bugis junction... ahhh it's juz so nice seeing her getting so excited and happy when we saw nice clothes and shoes... never has window shopping been so fun and engaging in my entire life... well tt brings us to e beginning of e june vacations... which is her prep week fer this trip which separates us physically fer the 8 days... even in this prep week, we spent a great deal of time tgt, which started wif me coaching her in fantasy variations... haha i thot i'd totalli shattered her pride pointing out all her weak pts... but i realli gotta say this again, she's gort so much more potential in sax playing than mi! so we went to amk to find her ensemble scores n she treated mi to chicken chop!!! i hafta say tue was a LONG LONG day... started wif her having band in e morning n we met up fer a quick lunch... e whole episode started when she gort the cleaning swab stuck in the soprano sax... we tried to remove it by ourselves initially but it failed badly... thank God i knew this repairman n so i contacted him n we brought e saxophone to pasir ris where he extracted e stuck cloth... it was realli a sigh of relief, n e load-off-my-mind look was excpetionally evident on esther's face... tt was all i needed to see... nth matters more than tt... tt evening, we attended one of e most dreadful concert of our lives... but oh wells e nice part was tt we sat through e entire concert wif e same pair of eyes n ears n shared comments throughout... hmmm i juz waited fer her to end band on wed, n we went to bread talk bistro at j8 after tt fer some bread n cake action!! haha... oh yes, went to her house tt evening to borrow some mirin n mayonnaise n also shopped at e supermarket near her place to prepare fer e picnic which took place after her dental, which she was late fer, e following day... so we went to e botanical gardens n treated ourselves wif e rice balls n sandwiches i made... it's always so good to see e joy on her face as she enjoys e food i made... it's juz a sense of fulfillment n satisfaction whenever tt happens... it's a deep joy from within... n so tt leads us to yesterdae where i went back to school to help out a bit wif their final packing b4 e trip b4 sending her home n showing her e book i've been preparing e whole week fer her to bring along wif her on e trip (i shall let her talk bout e contents of e book when she returns)... it's great to see her happy, great to haf her in my life, great loving her...
todae, i woke up at 4.30am to prepare egg sandwiches fer her, knowing she won't eat on e plane... ahhh sending off wasn't so saddening initially... but it juz seems to build up as e moment for checking in nears... my heart gort heavier as e seconds tick by, counting down to e next 691200 seconds of her absence... ahhh didn't noe it would feel so so so bad till 2 hours ago when i was juz going mad! haha... it's juz a tiny empty space from within waiting to be filled... juz like how a balloon wif even a tiny hole can nv ever fill up... well she burnt 4cds wif lovely songs in them fer mi... i juz love those!! it's such a commendable effort as she onli did it last nite!! ahh make mi feel so bad cos she stayed up so late (tho i stayed later) juz to do tt thing which means a world to mi... sorrie for making her upset her mom (tt is e top "no-no" on e list n we realli broke it this time)... well after saying so much, there's still 7 more days from tmr onwards... 8 days might seem so short, but then again... any 8 days in our journey is juz as eventful n colourful, even after her trip where we're gg to go intensive on exams prep... everything is juz different wif her presence; e most mundane thing can hav colours to it wif juz her presence... well i hope esther enjoys her trip, even wif my absence... quote of e week: absence makes e heart fonder. i love u esther <3 <3 <3

we were juz having sandwiches in e botanical gardens... memorable times of my life...
hmmm memories... all tt stuff in e past 11520 mins of my life... our journey tgt... i dunno wat e next 7 days hold fer mi... but one thing fer sure... i'm into mugging alr... hahaha... muz work hard 1stly cos studies is STILL e priority, 2ndly, cos block test is coming, n 3rd to occupy my mind so i dun think so much... but anyhow, i'll still think of her... i love u esther...
